Turns out I may have testicular cancer
So I have noticed a lump on my right testicle. I had been to the doctor, and just sent blood work out. I'm so much more depressed than now, and HOPE that its not cancerous.
I had a huge paranoia that it came from the finasteride I've been taking for almost a year now, or perhaps my iphone being in my pocket for...well basically my entire teenage life.
I'm just wondering is it possible that finasteride may have caused it?
I might have one testicle now. But the doctor said its really early on because as soon as I noticed I went to the doctor and also that it may in fact be something else. We wont know until the blood tests are back.

That's awful. I Hope you get the all clear. Until you get your blood test back, I would keep an open mind as it might be a lot better than you think. At the worst case scenario, it seems like you have caught it early and I'm sure there are plenty of options. Unless you started Propecia very young (before 18) I don't think this could have been the cause.
Bestt of luck! Hope things turn out ok!

Doctor Representative
I'm sorry to hear this and hope it turns out to be something other than cancer. The prognosis for testicular cancer is actually very good, so keep that in mind.

testicular cancer is one of the most treatable cancers and one of the medical success stories of modern medicine. if you are not coughing, or experiencing lower back or abdominal pain, it is probably stage 1 if its actually cancer. Strange that your doc decided to do a blood test, since an appointment with a urologist to do an ultrasound would be the way to go. If you get your tests back, I suggest you go see a urologist asap, that should give you peace of mind and a specialist opinion.
Best of luck and I know the what you going through since I went through the same experience.
