I ordered some, with the spray attachment. If I can hide the hair loss for a bit, I might be ok.. I got an appoitment with a hair system expert to show me what options I have for the future in case hair cloning turns out to not be as effective as one hopes.. besides I'm not going to wait more than 4 yrs for something, I want hair, real or fake. I have been saving up money, have my own savings for hair cloning... I just hope the balance isn't 5 billion when it does come out :P

Dermmatch and Toppik work well but my honest advice is don't go down that road. I used dermmatch once but could see where it was headed. Don't become a slave to them or use a cap as a crutch. It's much better not too in the long run. Two of my friends won't go anywhere without a hat. It must suck to grow dependent on it. No concealers or caps for me. Tough in the beginning but not so bad now. I did bust out the dermmatch again for the fun of it to cover up a sideburn I kind of lopped off by accident. Silly me. I won't do that again.

Does toppik look natural up close? Or will it be noticable under light that there is powder on my noggin?

Toppik is pretty good compared to other brands although you may have to try several shades to get the right one for you.

I have black hair, ordered black. Should I have bought dark brown?

Just got the topikk stuff. Works amazing. Doesn't look like I'm balding. I washed it off right away, and cried.
I'm not ready to accept I'm losing my hair, nor do I want to be dependent on concealers. I don't know what to do. I can't handle hair loss.. I can't.

So what shade did you end up buying?
It's great that you were satisfied with it. You don't really have to be dependent on it, you can just use it on special occasions instead of every day and use it together with your hair loss regimen.

Black... I only put a little, its like my crew fiber styling stuff I use...it adds a little density...I don't want to be dependent on caking it on... but hair cloning is a minimum of 5 yrs away, so I can deal with concealers for the time being. And yes hair cloning is close, I don't care about any negative feedbacks out there, its my only hope

I don't cry when I wash Toppik off, but it is sad to wash it off and go back to reality. It's like you feel guilty because you know you're fooling everyone around you.
But don't feel too bad, women get fake hair, fake noses, fake breasts, fake butts, fake lips, not to mention they put 100 pounds of make up on their face, etc just to impress us men and to get compliments from men. You're only putting a little bit of powder on your head, compare that to the long list I just mentioned.

Last year I went to a really nice resort in the Caribbean with my family, a nice 5 star resort. I took my Toppik with me and no hats. I can't believe how relaxed I was, knowing i'm covering my only flaw in appearance. I had a lot of fun and a good time, i'm not one to get in to beaches or pools other than just up to my belly, so getting wet was not a problem for me. I wasn't nervous about any one thinking i'm going bald, I was confident, it was great. I wish I can get my hair back so that feeling would feel more 'real' and in the back of my head I wouldn't be thinking of Toppik.
