    Default Taking the Plunge!

Hey guys, ive been on propecia for 2 1/2 years... with limited success. It has slowed down my loss. I have always feared rogaine, the twice a day, the shed, etc. However my the front third of my head is starting to get real thin, so before its too late I am starting rogaine. Just ordered the 5% unscented foam...i will prob start a week from today. If it could just thicken up what I have id be extremely grateful. Any comments, thoughts, warnings, etc?

Its a good product. Ease into it and only apply once a day to start off to allow hair to get used to it

Chances are it won't work on the front but you can try your luck. It might work. But you shouldn't have waited until your hair got thinner to start on minox. Which is better, using a topical twice a day or losing your hair ?

I recently started Minox foam on my hairline, i took the advice of Spex and for one month i applied once, in the evening.

Have now started applying it twice daily, theres been some thinning, it may have been worse if i hit it twice daily straight away, but - there's also a few random baby hair's appearing, five weeks in, so i'm pleased to see that, hopefully there's more to come.

Also, i actually like stying my hair with it, so far i'm liking it.

Hey good luck. I'm back on once a day- twice made me feel ill, tired and headaches.

See how you find it dude, but start once a day-that's what I did for a month anyway.

Try using it once a day first. See if you'd experience any negative side effect or test it out for some improvements. If you notice some positive changes then you can make it twice a day. Goodluck!
