Default Will getting a hair transplant cause future problems for future treatments?

The new study that Follica came out with in jan. has me thinking. It stated that men with pattern baldness still have hair follicles they just lose their terminal hairs due to a deactivation of progenitor cells.

Lets say you have had a transplant. Your baciscally adding more follicles on top of or next to the invisible follices that you already have. Then lets say that either follica, aderans, or histogen comes up with a treatment wheater it be a cream or injections to activate progenitor cells to regrow your hair how will this effect people with previous transplants?

no the histogen will just activate whatever dead follicles that are there and you will get more density if anything.

There is no reason to think that this will be the case.

the truth is one day people who have gotten transplants will regret they did. we don't know 100% why we lose our hair, or how to prevent it... so the best thing we have come up with is to just replace the hair follicles that aren't working with ones that are. essentially losing density in the back/sides, and butchering existing follicles with the transplanted hair follicles. in a perfect world we would all love to keep our hair follicles in their natural locations, and not have a surgeon rearrange them to keep us from looking bald.

thus a hair transplant is a last resort in my book, if you can avoid it, i def would... on the other hand if you need it, i'd do it and stop waiting for us to figure out hair loss. the clock keeps ticking, and having a full head of hair in your prime is essential.

Yop especially all those people who are now rushing to their FUT clinics and to their FUE docs who dont use Acell. And they will regret it pretty soon.

I dont have anything against transplants as long as you can well regenerate your donor area after that. But in that case i would asl my surgeon to plant the grafts as near as possible and act on the recipient side as if this side would be totally bald with no hair at all
