Where did you get this "fact" ? HTs have NOTHING to do with taking propecia/age/level of loss. HT doctors will tell you to use Fin to hopefully stop any further loss HOWEVER they also know propecia doesn't work for all people. The only time an HT doctor will advise against getting a transplant is when you have a very large bald area and only a very small area of donor hair. Taking/not taking Fin is your choice. Just dont expect an HT will give you anywhere near what you looked like when you had your original hair unless like I said before you have a very small bald area.

If I were you , and I had the courgae to shave my head like you do, I wouldn't do anythign now

Your head looks good shaved and as much as you want hair you will never get a full thick head of hair

Don't do something that you may regret ...just my opinion .

And you may never be able to cut your hair with a #1 or # 2 goign forward

This is a very good point - see you're taking a risk going for a HT if you are already shaving your head - once you commit to a HT - the linear OR non-linear scar may make it difficult to go back to your "old look" if (1) the worst happens and the transplant does not pan out well or (2) the thinning continues and the transplant looks thin after 3 - 5 years.

I understand your concerns about the ED pill (Propecia) - I too will not be taking that rubbish and Merck and the rest of the supporters/promoters can shove their money grabbing bullshit where it belongs - I am one of the many that believe Merck has been instrumental in withholding progress for real treatments being made available to the public.
