There are two versions of Nizoral one with 1% Ketoconazole and one with 2% Ketoconazole. The 2% is available by prescription only in USA I think it is over the counter in other countries.

the dosage from 1 percent to 2 is so significant they need a prescription for it?? lol
I was just wondering, I got the 2 percent prescribed anyways, maybe I'll start using it. Thanks

Studies put the 2% concentrate (Which is the same as Nizoral, yes. Key ingredient here is ketoconazole) in the same league as minoxidil 2% in terms of regrowth and maintenance. It's a no brainer as part of ANY anti-hairloss treatment and the only one without any side effects.

Good shedding or bad? How many times would you need to use it to "overuse" ?
