I'm in a bit of a dilemma and hoping some experienced hair color enthusiasts can shed some light on this. I recently bought two different brands of hair dye, one for the base color and another for highlights. However, I'm unsure if it's safe to mix them together.

Many guys ask, can you mix different brands of hair dye? I've heard conflicting opinions on this topic, with some saying it's fine as long as they're both semi-permanent or permanent, while others warn against it, citing potential chemical reactions.
