    Redness in recipient area

I will be getting a hair transplant in about three weeks. I was wondering for how long is the skin red/pink/discolored in the recipient area after the surgery? I am expecting to receive around 3,000 grafts.

Also, for how long do the scabs/crusts last.

Can anything be done to minimize the discoloration or to heal faster? My friend's husband took minoxodyl 5% after his transplant 12 years ago.

    Thank you.

According to me, you need to take consultation from your surgeon. It will depends on different cases. One of my friend suffered 3 weeks from redness in recipient area.
