Can I take Saw Palmeto 500 mg. a day?

I have used Propecia for 10 years. Now I have more hair fall. Then I want to take Saw Palmeto 500 mg.(this doze/capsule are sold in Thailand) a day. So I have a few question
1.Can Saw Palmeto work with Propecia to reduce the hair fall and regrow new hair?
2.Are there any side effect? If I take Saw Palmeto 500 mg. a day?
3.Can I take Saw Palmeto 500 mg. 1 time instead of 160 mg. 2 times a day?

You considered durastide or whatever its called, supposed to be a lot stronger than Propecia but consult yr doc/derm beforehand.
