More hair loss from propecia/ketoconazole shampoo?

So I was prescribed Propecia (been taking for about 10 days now) and Ketoconazole 2% shampoo...i've been noticing some rapid thinning lately..is this normal while taking these or should i discontinue usage?..

It's not uncommon to experience shedding when beginning hair loss medications. Although it seems counterintuitive, it actually suggests that the meds are working. Keep it up!

Thanks so much..I just want to make sure that the shedding phase isn't me losing more hair permanently from the propecia..
