But, won't it fall right back out?

If a man has male pattern baldness, and receives a transplant, won't it just fall right back out? After all, the doctors aren't enhancing our hormone or the rest of our anatomy in any way, just our hair follicles.

I'm curious as to how long men keep their transplants for, and if meds are taken to keep it stabilized.

    Thanks!

Lasts forever. New follicles are DHT resistant.

Hair that is transplanted into the recipient area on top is taken from the "donor region" the hair in this area is genetically coded to not fall out as is DHT resistant.
