24 with Frontal Hair Loss -PLEASE HELP

    Hello,

I am 24 years old and have been thinning in the frontal region for about a year. I have been on propecia for about 8 months but i don't think it is helping yet. Is there still any chance that it can still help me? It might be slowing the thinning slightly but I can't really tell. Should I atleast keep using it to protect the crown? I have been using rogaine on the front for about 6 or so months but only once a day when I do use it. I MUST SAY THAT I AM PROBABLY ONLY USING 1/4 OF A GENERIC PROSCAR AND ROGAINE ONCE A DAY 5-6 DAYS A WEEK JUST DUE TO LAZINESS AND FORGETFULNESS (USUALLY ON THE WEEKEND). COULD THIS BE A FACTOR? COULD THAT EXTRA 1-2 DAYS A WEEK REALLY HELP?

My hairloss is absolutely devastating to me. I think about it all day every day and I am always looking at other peoples hair. I am always thinking "why me?" I have always been a pretty attractive guy and had success with the ladies. I have lost so much confidence and I am always wearing a hat these days, which I can pull off well, but it is frustrating. Started losing my hair at 23 and it has become very depressing.

    ANY SUGGESTIONS?

WHEN SHOULD I CONSIDER A HAIR TRANSPLANT BECAUSE I ALREADY AM?

    THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP.

Generally when I read a post like this, I always wait for Spex's well informed advice.
