    Default Plucking hair line hairs.

Does anybody else pluck those ugly baby hairs along your hairline? I'm NW2, and have slight recession.. but my hairline looks so unatrual, so I tend to pluck hairs. People tell me to leave it alone.. it's obsessive compulsive.. I can't help but pull them out.

My question is, would my hairs get affected by the constant plucking? I recently stopped because my friend tells me it will grow it thinner.

Continued plucking of hairs in the same area may result in some permanant damage to the hair follicle. Especially in an area that is programmed to experience genetic hair loss.

You would be better off shaving or trimming the area versus plucking.

    Default about plucked hairs

if the hair cells become vulnerably damaged by plucking hair then how would ACELL work then where Dr. Cooley takes plucked hairs from the back of your scalp and mix it with ACell then injects back into our scalp?

I'm not too familiar with the Acell process, but plucking hairs once generally isn't harmful. Like Dr Charles said, it is continued plucking that can damage the follicles. Think of all those women you see who can no longer grow full eyebrows.

why does my hairline look this ugly? Is it from my MPB? Or just the way my hairline is? I don't know what to do to make it look more natural. Can't shave my head, I look like a goon.

    So ****ing stressed out.

BoSox; With all due respect - dude you're crazy. Your hairline is awesome. It doesn't look the least bit ugly or unnatural and it seems extremely dense - anything else is just in your mind so just stop obsessing and get on with life.

Christ, you should try on my hairline for a day. If yours stresses you out, I can't imagine what mine would do to you.
