Prince William's hairline is fading fast
Prince William looks like someone who has it all: royal status, a charming fiancee, good health, and an easy touch with his future subjects. But there is one thing he lacks: a full head of hair.
Casual observers who have not paid much attention to Britain's future king in the years before his recent engagement to Kate Middleton have been surprised by the extent of the 28-year-old's hair loss. William still cuts a tall, imposing figure, but his bald spot has been spreading as his hairline recedes.

this is a true test for any man, will the ladies still think he's an adorable fellow with all the looks of a (future) dream king, i feel all eyes will start to go towards his younger bro Harry, looks like the dreaded DHT/MPB may pass the younger lad by, the lucky sod.
This will show everyone that baldness is plain crap and we're watching a young man go through it in the public eye, you can't get more public eye!
of thread a little...
for those in the UK, we've another celeb that has outed himself regarding going through with a HT and that's Jason Gardiner, top marks and the upmost respect to this man, he's come out and told his hairloss story warts and all, well done Jason.

Is getting a hair transplant anymore embarrassing or vain than getting a tit job or botox?

No and I think recipients of all the above treatments get mocked in much the same way, at least in the UK. Which is a bit unfair, because aging is normal (and fighting it cosmetically is a bit far fetched) whereas baldness isn't (at least not at 20).
I don't think hair restoration will be mocked in the same way when a truly effective solution is released though. What is mocked is ridiculous looking transplants and wasting money on ineffective drugs (it looks desperate). When it becomes a case of buying a product that works, in the same way as you treat other skin conditions, attitudes will change.
As for Prince William, he should count himself extremely lucky that he has a well paid job for life, sycophantic respect and large amounts of money. Three things the average bald man will never have.

With the kind of money he has, porn stars would be jumping at him even if he were horribly disfigured and spoke with a lithp.
Women only care about your looks when your pocket's empty, don't you all know?

True but he could have also been rich and not have the public eye 24/7 watching him go bald. He is not that lucky haha.
