Default Rogaine foam vs the dropper

    Hi all,

If the Rogaine liquid in the bottle which you apply with a dropper doesn't work for you, is there any value in trying the foam instead? Or is it just made of the same stuff so would have exactly the same affect?

    Thanks

Yes the foam might be better for you, less dandruff, makes hair thicker and overall improves the feel of you hair.

When it comes to a hair loss treatment for men, there's nothing quite like ROGAINE® Foam. ROGAINE® Foam is the first and only FDA-approved hair regrowth foam. It contains 5% minoxidil—and in clinical testing, ROGAINE® Foam regrew hair in 85% of men after 4 months when used twice daily. And because it's a foam, there is no hassle and no mess. It goes on easy and dries quickly. So your daily routine is never interrupted.

I am six month post HT and also on Proscar. I am happy the way things are turning out but is considering using Rogaine Foam to kick start any dormant newly transplanted follicles. My concern however is that should I stop this treatment in the future and only continue the proscar treatment the "newly" transplanted follicles will shed. It seems there is a number of men experiecing sheding once they stopped using rograine. Is this a risk or is the shedding only relating to non transplanted hair as the translanted hair is harvested from a donar area not suffering MPB. Any advise will be welcome - thanks

I have just recieved my 3 month supply of Regaine, in liquid form and not in foam. Is it a good idea to use this liquid version or should I go and buy the foam version?

Would like some clarification on this before I use it.

    Many thanks

There are more feedback on the Rogaine Foam than the liquid.

So do you think that it is worth me getting the foam version instead of lioquid. I have been using the liquid version for the past month and I am not sure about the results. It appears to be the same, maybe a bit more thinning but stopped.

It did say that there might be thinning of hair from 2-6 weeks.

Anyway would it be worth me buying the foam version and stop using the liquid version?

I would get some Rogaine foam and use it in the mornings and the liquid form at night. Add nizoral 2% to your regime as well, and you have the best topicals in my opinion.

Why, Spec? Essentially it has the same ingredients so what's the difference besides one being a liquid and one a foam?
