This is a gentleman who had a previous hair transplant that was unsuccessful. He also had a scab-mark pigmentation.

Dr. Sean Behnam performed FUE hair transplant. These are the results after one year.

Ethnic hair restoration has its challenges. The hairs have to be extracted pretty nicely and accurately. The person who's performing the extraction has to follow the curvature of the natural hair such that the grafts are not transected. The slits that are the grafts are placed into has to be large enough so the grafts can be placed easily. The key really is to create an environment where the grafts are minimally touched from the time they are transected to the time they are placed. The placing must be very easy and the placing cannot be too tight. This way it allows for a high-graft survivability and growth of the graft itself. In this case the gentleman had a previous hair transplant. It was not sure why he didn't had a great graft survivability. Dr. Sean performed the hair transplant afterwards and he has now great results. Dr. Sean performs the extraction of grafts itself and site creations as well. He even does some of the placing to make sure the placing is correct and accurate.
