1400 CIT grafts on class 3V patient -12 months post-op
This 52 year old class 3V patient came to Dr. Cole in the winter of 07’. The patient began noticing hair loss at the age of 18 but only recently began using hair loss medications to maintain the pre-existing hair. The patient’s goal was to re-establish the frontal hair line area via CIT (non-strip) method. This patient has medium brown hair with average hair density. Before the procedure, the patient was told that every time an incision is made in the human body, a scar will occur, although every effort will be made to make the extraction sites as inconspicuous as possible. Patients should be sure that they understand the advantages and risks before choosing any course of treatment. Dr. Cole successfully transferred 1400 CIT grafts onto the frontal scalp to treat this patient’s hair loss. At 12 months post-op, note how balanced and natural the final result looks. The patient is extremely pleased with the new hair growth.
