Default 21 year old. Preparing for the future.

Hello everyone. I have been lurking here for a couple months now just reading posts. I finally decided to make an account.
I am a 21 year old college student. I first noticed some minor thinning at 18 but thought nothing of it.(cause going bald was something only 40 year old experience) Then at 19 my hair line started to recede a little bit, but no more thinning.(I still wasn't that worried cause it didn't look that bad)
Now at 21 my hair line has receded quite noticeably and I am experiencing thinning on top in the center of my head.(Now reality is starting to sink in like a kick between the legs with a steel toe boot). I will try and post pictures eventually.
Looking forward to getting information and being a part of the baldtruthtalk forum!(lol)

Genetics History(this is where it gets ugly)-MPB on both sides of the family.
Grandfather-Almost completely bald. Unsure when he started losing his hair.
Maternal Grandfather-Completely bald but I am unsure of the age he started balding at.

Uncle on Mothers side. Bald now. and appeared to have some thinning in late 20's.
Father-Really thin on top on the front and center area. Has the clown hair and pretty thick towards the back on top. Started thinning around late 20's.

Consider starting Propecia. It is probably the best preventative treatment currently available. Of course no guarantee but worth a try. You have to attempt salvaging what you still have and once things are stabalized you can then consider hair restoration if needed.
