Topical Flutamide, the wonder drug?
What is everyone's opinion on topical flutamide? I have been looking around on different forums online and have noticed many people have talked about the benefit of being on flutamide. I have also read some threads about possible systemic absorption with this drug. Thoughts?

IAHRS Recommended Hair Transplant Surgeon
There are quite a few side effects that may occur with usage of the medication. I would recommend really doing some research before taking a medication to prevent hair loss that is usually used to treat Prostrate cancer.

Thanks for the reply Dr. Charles. Out of curiosity, have you ever had any patients use this medication? From what I know, oral flutamide is used to treat prostate cancer in a 750 mg dosage. However, there are certain flutamide topicals online which use about 20 mg per application. Unless if flutamide can accumulate in the body over time, and depending upon the androgen receptor turnout rate, could this be used in a safe dosage for hair loss?
