Default Please advice on eligibility for hair transplant

    Hello all,

I am new to this forum and considering a hair transplant (35 years old).

Since I am getting a lot of contradictive advice from hair transplant clinics, I would appreciate if you guys here could also give your opinion.

Here are some recent pictures (my hair is rather long in these pictures):
    https://picallow.com/image0/ (normal front)
    https://picallow.com/image1-2/ (receded hairline)
    https://picallow.com/image2/ (receded hairline)
    https://picallow.com/image3/ (crown)

    My main concerns are:

1/ All clinics told me that the new hairline would have less density than my current hairline. Which would look better? My current receded hairline or a new hairline with less density?

2/ In your opinion, how many grafts would be needed for a decent result in the hairline area and the crown?

3/ Would you have the hair transplant now or wait a couple more years?

4/ Is there a higher risk of prolonged redness or scarring because of my sensitive skin?

    Thanks for your input!

I think you could be eligible for a hair transplant. I’m no expert but I did have a hair transplant before. You may want to choose a surgeon who is good at transplanting curly hair though. I hear that they’re quite different. My hair is straight so I didn’t face any problem but another friend of mine do have curly hair, so my doctor had warned him that he would have to go to a surgeon who can transplant curly hair even if my friend didn’t choose my doctor.
For your other questions, I'm obviously not an expert so it wouldn't be right for me to answer.
