Dr. Lindsey 2200 plug repair at 10 months McLean VA

This nice fellow was fairly plugged out years ago. As readers may know, I think that the regularity and "predictability" of a pluggy front is like driving by a Christmas tree farm. My approach is simply to plant alot of trees in the first few rows of the Christmas tree farm, and irregularize the hairline. That makes people driving by the farm think its just a regular forest. Same deal with a hairline.

Remember, there is a limited supply of donor hair to plant, and I like to pack that front inch or so. In order to preserve the already paid for and nicely growing plugs, we crew-cut them and then I make the slits carefully trying not to damage their roots, yet get close enough to camouflage the plugs themselves.

Shown are periop and 1 week pics, and then 10 month pics from this past Sunday. I think he has more still to thicken up but both he and I feel the hairline has been tranformed.

He had inquired about putting more of his limited hair about an inch and a half back in amongst the plugs...but I had to remind him that he has a limited supply of maybe 2000 grafts left...and his crown is thinning despite meds...so I'd save that hair for the crown a few years from now.
