1700 CIT grafts on class 3 patient @ 9 months post-op | Dr. John Cole

This class 3 patient came to our clinic nine months ago. The patients goal was to restore the natural density on the frontal hair line that once existed. This patient has well above average donor density and a medium caliber of hair. This patient was treated with 1700 CIT grafts in one session. CIT (Cole Isolation Technique) encapsulates customized devices developed to enable efficient harvesting of single follicular units. CIT allows patients to avoid the linear scar associated with strip (FUT) hair transplant method. At just 9 months post-op, this patient has regained confidence to go out in public with the "slick" look. The soft and natural appearance of the redefined front line is most satisfying for this patient. Happy New Year to all!

    FUE and CIT?

Looks good! So from what I understand the hair will get thicker for the next few months right?

Can you explain the difference between FUE and CIT? Is there a difference? And one more question, can this guy style his hair anyway he likes or does it have to go straight back?

This guy looks spectacular. I am also wondering the same thing as the poster above.

        Fue fit cit

FIT and CIT are our proprietary methods of hair transplantation. We have performed over 1 million grafts and over 1000 surgeries with FIT. In order to separate ourselves even further, we’ve advanced the technology even further and we now call it CIT. It is important to recognize that we have more results than any other clinic out there who claims to perform FUE. Furthermore, our results are ones you can magnify and see whereas many others post photos that hide the lack of a result.

Some techniques of FUE are highly inefficient and produce a low yield with a high rate of follicle injury. Our technique and instruments are proprietary and produce high quality results with the lowest risk of follicle injury.

It would be inaccurate to disclose data that we even use what most clinics refer to as punches. Our instruments can accommodate all patients' needs as no two donor areas are the same. As it was stated over several years ago, we did introduce the smaller extraction tools to the hair transplant industry. If you meet our patients and talk to our staff then you could very well get more information about what is done at our clinic.
