    Default New born hair dying?

    Ok lets see now.

I had my surgery at beginning of November 2010. It's now late Jan 2011.

At this point some of my hair have started to regrow although not a lot as I like. Right now it looks like I had more hair before surgery than after. lol. Been wearing a baseball cap for the last couple of months. First time wearing a baseball cap since I like to gel my hair prior to having surgery.

I've been noticing something during this month and maybe last month too. I'm noticing that some of my new born hair that's suppose to grow back seem to be dying after 1-2 weeks or so. The reason why I notice this is that I've always check daily for any sign of new hair growth. Yeah I know I'm pretty vain. So I've been keeping track of all the possible new hair that's been growing on or around my forehead where I had the surgery done. And I've notice that a few new born hair seem to grow like maybe a millimetre in a 2 week time and than they fall off or so.
I can only assume they must have fallen off as they are no longer there after the 3rd or 4th week. Is this normal to have some new born hair fall off?

I'm thinking I may have accidentally rub them off during a shower or my wearing a baseball cap may have damage them and made them fall off since those new born hair aren't very strong. Wearing a baseball cap seem to have a flat effect on my hair for some reason and I don't know if that's a good effect to have if you are looking for hair to start growing upward.
Should I just forget about wearing a baseball cap for now?
