    Default Is my hairline receding?

Okay I'll keep this short and be as blunt as you want. Is my hairline receding? Keep in mind I just had a haircut. I'm 20 years old and my father started balding in his 30's.

It does look like it could be, actually. Has it changed recently? How do you feel about it?

I'm not sure when it changed tbh, but I've always had quite thin hair. As a teenager I went through quite a lot of stress and would sometimes wake up with a few strands of hair on my bed.

My dad started balding in his 30's so I imagine there's a hereditary element to it as well. I'm okay about it for now but I'm not looking forward to going bald lmao. My face really wouldn't suit no hair.

Well, thing is, if this does happen - and it's not certain - there are still things to be done. There's the usual combination of finasteride (not for everyone), minoxidil and dermarolling. Then there are cosmetic treatments like DermMatch and Toppik. The tide is turning a little now for non-surgical hair replacements. You have options. )

    Receeder,

It certainly could be however, you’ve only posted a few photos and I believe all of them are from recently right? If that’s the case, then we really have nothing to compare these photos to. In other words, we have no idea what your hair looks like years ago before you suspected any signs of hairline recession. So what do you think? How does your hairline now compare to how it was years ago? What makes you think it might be receding? The truth is, if you suspect your hairline is receding, then it probably is. But feel free to post some additional photos that show close-ups of the hairline today and then post some photos of your hairline years ago if possible.

    Best wishes,
