Fueht,
At three weeks postop, the graphs are secured underneath the surface of the skin and it would require surgery to remove them. Therefore, any hair that came out with dry or flaky skin would not include the actual follicle. In 3 to 5 months after surgery, new growth should start to occur and all the follicles that were placed should begin growing and take up to a year to 18 months to grow and mature.
Best wishes,
Rahal Hair Transplant
