This 27-year-old gentleman had a hair loss pattern of a class 3 on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale.
His goal was to rebuild his hairline and add density to the frontal 1/3 of his scalp. I discussed the patient’s goals with him and after taking his age and current hair loss into consideration, we came upon an agreement for what would suite his expectations. Therefore, I planned the surgery accordingly, paying careful attention to the hairline. I wanted to reconstruct a very natural hairline that would be suitable for him as he continued to age.
A total of 2,500 grafts were used in the frontal 1/3 of his head.
These are his results 7 months post-op. His results will continue to improve over the next 6-9 months. Patient is presently on Propecia. The patient is extremely happy with his results.
