Dr.Charles "Operation Hair Help" | Submit Your Request For A Pro Bono Hair Transplant
I'd like to announce that Charles Medical Group will be accepting video submissions from prospective hair transplant patients for possible selection and inclusion in our 2011 pro bono hair transplant initiative, "Operation Hair Help."
My goal is to provide free surgical hair restoration to those in need,
and I hope that by documenting these life altering procedures others will
have the opportunity to learn how empowering hair transplantation can be for
those who make good candidates for the procedure.
The recipients of these procedures will be selected based on video
submissions that will be reviewed by a panel of three independent experts,
one of whom will be myself, and should meet the following criteria:
- Video submissions should be no longer than three minutes maximum
- Submissions must be made by the intended recipient
- Participants must sign a downloadable release for the use of video, photos, etc. at Dr. Charles’ discretion
- Participants must be willing to participate in brief interviews via webcam and radio
- Submissions must be received by midnight on the announced deadline
There will be an additional post with all of the essential criteria and
specific dates to follow.
If you have a compelling story to share, we would love to help make your hair restoration goals a reality.

This sounds like a wonderful opportunity! So how exactly does it work? Do we submit a video to the forum or do we send it directly to you and where to we upload it to? Also, what do we say on the video, do we talk about why we want a hair transplant and can not afford one and stuff like that? Can anybody submit a story or do we have to be really bad off?

There will be a new post within a few days that will give instructions on how to submit the videos. The video should tell a compelling story or give a explanation as to why you think you deserve to be considered for a Pro Bono hair restoration procedure.

Dr. Charles, is this offer only for people who need repair surgery or can anyone submit a video for consideration?

It is not only for repair situations. Anyone can submit a video. There will be two seperate catagories. One for first timers and one for repair patients.
