4 1/2 weeks post hp
I am a 49 year old female and am 4 1/2 weeks post hp. I really thought I had prepared for shock loss but I must be the worse case scenario. What started as a bald spot in one area of my hairline with some all around frontal thinning is now full out bare spots all over. So much so it is impossible to cover and I am beyond depressed!!! I don't know how to get through the next few months not even knowing what if anything will grow in. I took years to get my courage up to do this I am praying I made the right decision. It does seem quite a bit more difficult for women to go through this.

Please accept my words of advice. For short while would it not be acceptable to buy a wig till everything re grows?
Women wear wigs for fun all the time so it's certainly more acceptable.

just be strong, we make choices in life and we see them through, this is your journey and there so much more to it then this one pit stop.
i wish i had more clinical terms to ease your pain, but in the end no doctor or fact can really do that, its you.
love yourself
