Is topical finasteride 0.025 a possible Solution
Hey there,
I am 30 years old have been Unsing FIN von 2017-2019 and stopped after my 5k Graft FUT Hair transplant because the Sides are too heavy for me:
* HEAVY Brainfog, which bothers me the most
* Zero Libidido, heavy ED, Sperm volume decreased so much, just 1 or 2 drops come out of it...
* Problems with dry eyes
* Feelings of Weakness - Depressions
* Weight gain (well this can be discussed )
At the beginning of 2021, I've seen that I lost a little ground again on the Crown, so I hopped on FIN again, but this time I wanted to do it better. So I did my research and ended up by taking 3*1mg a week, which is way less compared to the 1.25mg/day I used before.
Long Story short, Sides are still come back, I tried to taper down to 3*0.25mg per Week which is such a low dosage, I could not imagine, to get any sides... But Sides are there again.
I am wondering what are the next steps for me to try, I just want to maintain.
So I did my research on topical finasteride, I am not too convinced, there are not too many studies and even fewer results before and after...
But I want to do whatever is possible, so I am thinking about 0.025 percent which seems to go less systemic with a Scalp DHT reduction of 50 percent.
What do you think of this treatment, a good alternative or a waste of time ?
THX!
