22-year-old starting the balding process

Hi, I'm turning 23 in a couple of months and have recently noticed I'm going bald. This time last year my hair was very thick and full and while I knew I would eventually go bald judging by my family history, I just didn't think it could happen so fast.

Around August I noticed my hair wasn't growing back as thick as it once was but didn't think much of it, then in October I saw how my hair looked in some photos and could see parts of my scalp. Since then I haven't been able to stop stressing about this and I'm sure it's making things worse.

While I still have coverage, there are various areas of thinning, including recession at the temples. I have to style my hair in a way that covers up these gaps, not a style that looks good. I've bought some Rogaine Foam but am too scared to use it because of all the shedding stories.

I also have acne and was wondering if that and the thinning hair are linked somehow?
