    Default 14 months since surgery

About 14 months ago I had about 1600 graphs transplanted. This was a fill in for other work I had done in the past and one of the goals was to clean up the hairline. Since I was not "bald" where most of the graphs were transplanted, it's hard to really judge the results.

At this point the hairline looks bad as far as I'm concerned. A lot of follicles in the front hairline never to have seemed to grow in. It seems maybe half at best. Many of the "shocked" follicles never really fell out like the others. They slowly came out after about 8-12 months and nothing grew in their place. Were there mistakes in the "harvesting\splicing" of the donor sight that may have damaged the follicles or what would cause this? I'm wondering what happened to the rest that I can't really see...

On the other hand, many of the transplanted hairs started growing like normal without ever falling out after the move. I could go back to the Dr but I'm not sure what that's going to get me. How long should some of these follicles take if they eventually grow at all?

    Thoughts?
