    Propecia

Propecia is used for the treatment of male pattern hair loss on the vertex, at the top of the head, and the anterior mid-scalp

"PROPECIA is used for the treatment of male pattern hair loss on the vertex (at the top of the head) and the anterior mid-scalp."

"PROPECIA was studied in men aged 18 to 41 with mild to moderate amounts of hair loss. There is not sufficient evidence that PROPECIA works for recession at the temporal areas. PROPECIA is for use by men only."

    Is this true
I thought propecia worked for stopping balding all over

    anecdotally

i can tell you that it did wonders for me with MPB at the back. my brother in law has the back and the front, and it works on the back, but his hairline is receding.

No. It's primarily effective in the crown, less so in the anterior mid-scalp, and not much at all in the front (hairline).

I started taking it after seeing slight recession in my hairline. It regrew my juvenile hair line and maintained it for 12 years until I stopped the drug 7 months ago.
