Hair transplant contraindications?
Hey everyone! I am a law student in my 3rd year which has been going on successfully. Recently, our university conducted a seminar in which they talked about a case of women who had Hair transplant and the surgeon here did it wrong. They asked us to browse about the contraindications of Hair transplants. So, I was wondering if someone here has any information on its contraindication they could share with me as it will help me in my law coursework

Hi there, great question! Unfortunately many things can go wrong with a hair transplant. I would it say in most cases its a over harvested donor region.

unlike men, many women simply are not good candidates for a hair transplant. While most men experiencing baldness suffer from male pattern baldness or androgenetic alopecia many women suffer from other non-genetic causes, many of which don’t make them good candidates for surgical restoration. Without getting too specific, these hair loss conditions either affect the donor area, a.k.a. making it too thin or the recipient area whereas transplanted hair wouldn’t even grow. If you’re looking for specific hair loss conditions and its causes, I can respond with that information as well.
Best wishes,
