This patient is a 36 yo male with Androgenic Alopecia affecting Frontal hairline, frontal forelock and crown. Patient received Total 2015 total grafts, of which 1758 were FU’s, and 257 were DFu’s. This is a case that illustrates one of the indications for utilizing DFU's (naturally thin caliber hair), and the benefit of that use: increased hair mass in the central frontal forelock area and anterior crown- especially helpful in situations that are more "stressful" to showing "thinning"- for example after swimming/exercising.
