19 - is my crown balding?

I have been told on a few occasions now that I only have a cowlick or it's how my hair parts, but simply from the way it looks and plus the fact that crown balding genetics is on my mother's side, this causes me great distress.

I have always had a full head of hair, and I don't want to lose it (at least not this early!)

My hairline IS receding a little at the temples, as far as I can tell.
