Yes my doctor prescribed me the fin. I believe that the shed lasts about 3 to 4 months and then it is to regrow some of your hair back hopefully. Im just about to turn 22 which sucks that I am already starting to go through the stages of mpb. I am hoping to get a hair transplant sometime soon hopefully.

Thanks for the quick response. I hope the best for you man, but I'm pretty sure fin will buy us sometime before the real deal hits the market which looks to be very soon. Happy early 22nd.

How young can you get a HT? I was really thinking about getting one, but apparently it's not possible :/

Progress
Hey man, just wanted to see how its going for you. Last time you posted you had increased shedding and the hairline was getting worse. Anything new? did your shedding stop? Hairline comeback? Any update would be great. Thanks

I feel like I have stopped shedding as much as before. But I still have not seen a big improvement. I do believe that its on the way, jumped out of the shower to day and saw a ton of shorter hairs starting to pop up on my hairline. Not sure if they are new healthy hair coming in or hair that is miniaturizing. Ill try to put some pictures up tomorrow, just too busy with school right now

Right on man. From what I've read, this is exactly what happens when your responding to fin. hang in there and Good luck. Hope to see some pics when you have some free time. BTW, any sides to speak of?

October seems so long ago now, but you're only 5 months into treatment. Think of stopping hairloss in it's tracks as the main aim with re-growth as a nice bonus. Even if the hairline doesn't improve you could be preventing a bald spot opening up at the crown, where the drug tends to have it's greatest effect.

hey guys here are some pictures i took today. My camera is not working right and since im at my ranch it will be a few days to fix it, but i took these with my computer. hoping to get an ht at the end of summer to fix the hairline and density in the front.

it looks like you've receeded (might be the way the 2nd pic was taken where your hands were covering your temples) but your hair looks thicker at the front
what do you think?

I don't think Its my sides have gone further back, but the "peninsula" have differently gotten thinner. I think its been the propecia killing off the unhealthy hair I'm not quite sure. On the thickness of my hair I do believe it has gotten a bit thicker, but not much I'm still waiting to see some gains in the next several months. Like I said before I have started seeing a lot of hairs popping up, but its still too early to tell.
