hair transplant advice without finasteride
I am in my mid 30s and a norwood 3V (mild thinning in the crown). My family history suggests I may end up a norwood 5 in my 50s/60s.
I tried finasteride, but had to discontinue due to experiencing severe side effects after just a few days. I've tried PRP and a capillus for 1 year with no improvement. I just started minoxidil each night and am continuing to use the capillus each day.
I would like a hair transplant for my hairline, but I am hesitant since I haven't been able to stabilize the progression of my hair loss.
Has anyone had a similar experience and went forward with having a hair transplant? Does anyone have any additional suggestions on how to slow the hair loss? Thanks for your input!
