    If you were to take Avodart for hair loss, I don't think you'd want to start on more than .5 mg per day. And I'm not sure it would be helpful to combine it with Propecia - seems a bit redundant. You could ask a doctor about it though.

    Rogaine is a brand of minoxidil, and yes, it will most likely help your hair. I would suggest starting with the 5% solution and graduating to a stronger dose if you go a few months with no side effects. (Any brand of minox should work, it doesn't have to be Rogaine.)
