I'm sorry, but I don't have any positive results to report to you. Here's everything I've tried.

    Propecia 1mg/day for 1 year
Avodart - .5mg-2.5mg/day varied over 18 consecutive months
5% Rogaine foam for 8 months
    Laser for 6 months
Dr. Lee's ******* 15% plus (at night) and minoxidil 6% plus (during the day) for 10 months
Dr. Lee's regrowth shampoo every other day, every other day Nioxin System 2cleanser with system 2 scalp therapy (conditioner everyday) for 18 months
Vitamin D 1000 IU/day (I'm low on Vitamin D and this more or less helps support that defficiency)
    Biotin 5000mcg/day for 3 months
and a few months ago PRP w/protein matrix (Greco)

I first started to notice some hair loss around my 28th birthday, I'll be 31 in 4 weeks. My hair was fairly full and thicker when I first noticed it, so I definitely caught it early enough to have some sort of a chance to fight it, but nothing has worked.

I just deal with it now. I'm not happy about it, but truthfully I've learned to accept it for the most part. Sure, there are days that I get pissed off and declare I'm not done fighting it! Just 18 months ago I was in Vegas and girls would come up to me and tell me how hot I was and how cool my hair was. I remember looking over at my buddy and saying, "yeah, for now, give me a year". Right now though, the right "weapons" just aren't out there to fight this. So what do you do?

You prepare yourself on a couple of different fronts. First, you must realize that having hair on your head does not define who you are. Whether or not I have truly accomplished this, I really don't know. Maybe I'm lying to myself to the point that I actually believe that. Either way, it does relieve stress from my life. Again, this fluctuates for me at times.

Second, I'm kicking ass at work, getting promoted up the ladder quickly so that when something new and very promising does come out to treat hair loss, my ass is liquid enough to do something about it. And I do believe that with all of the R&D happening, we're close to getting something way beyond anything that's currently out there. Nothing else has worked for me, so really what are my options?

So I'll just say, hang in there man. I know it's rough, but no matter how you look at it, it's not the end.

Hey ThinFast how do you wear your hair now? Did you shave your head?

    Have you considered a transplant?

I think I will end up getting a transplant in 4 or 5 months.

Kanyon, I still wear hair my hair the same way as I did before I noticed I was losing it. Kind of combed/blown forward with the front spiked up. I haven't shaved it yet, although I go week to week on that decisison. I began using this nick chavez hair plumpening spray that makes it look much more full, along with some toppik when I feel I need it. I'm not trying to pass my hair off as completely full, but more of the appearance that I've just had some minor loss.

I really don't consider a transplant a viable option. First reason is because I can't retain anything that I have, so I figure that by the time transplanted hair grows in, I'll be needing another to fill in a new area. The second and main reason is because I believe the my loss will eventually be too great. I base this off of how my uncles on my mom's side look as I seem to resemble them more than my dad's side who still have all of their hair now into their 50's. I also base it off of the thinning areas I've seen on my own. My hair loss is diffuse but has courteously given away the outline of horse shoe it is hastily carving into my dome. Based on those 2 reasons, I feel there will not be enough hair left for any transplant to meet my expectations.
