Mirage Hair Fibres
Anyone heard of this product? Never heard it mentioned. Similar to nanogen fibres but better value perhaps?

thanks for your reply. Are these things really all the same? Nanogen go on about how their product isn't soluble in sweat like 'the leading brand' and a bunch of other guff.

Nanogen
Started using the product a few months ago.
I work out a lot. Live in Florida and sweat profusely to the point my head is soaked. Never had a problem with it.
But I can tell you if I were to run my hands through my hair while it was soaked with sweat the Nanogen fibers would be on my hand even with hairspray applied.
The fibers stick to your existing hair with a bit of hairspray. Stay out hurricanes and you'll be fine.
It's a great product. I have had nothing but high marks for it.

I also have a handful of patients who are using it and really are happy. One patient told me that he apples the Rogaine foam on before applying the fibers and it helps them to adhear to the existing hair. Just food for thought.

Thanks for the replies. What does it look like when it's applied? Is it undetectable? or does it look weird? If I had it in my hair would I be constantly conscious of people standing behind me?

lol, I think I am going to buy some of this and give it a try.
I don't have diffuse thinning though. Where I do have hair, it is plenty and pretty full. But maybe it creates a better effect I don't know.
It's interesting because it will thicken up hair... maybe create a better look for everyone even if you don't have hair loss.
I am going to give it a try myself.

What it looks like - nanogen
It looks normal and undetectable. If you use too much it looks chalky. Key is to apply a bit and gently rub it in so it evens out across your hair. Add a bit more if need be. Trial and error.
The only one that knows I'm using it is my gal. She's honest and said she can't tell at all....unless she gets eyeball to my scalp. But from a distance, even close up like if you are at a party no one can tell.
Good product!
