      Nanogen

Can it be used without hairspray? I guess it probably could, but there will be nothing to hold the fibers onto your existing hair.

The packaging says they electrostatically cling to your existing hair. I don't know about that.

I was apprehensive about using hairspray, but there are some very light ones out there. Trust me, I didn't want the beehive, hair sprayed look or the Aquanet look from 1980's hair metal bands, but I do use hair spray when I use Nanogen.

Just enough to hold things in place...

Just another question. Is there any evidence to suggest these fibres are bad for the hair/scalp? Mighten they harm the growth of our precious few real hairs?

            Nanogen

Nanofibers are chopped up bits of keratin, the same substance that makes up normal hair fibers. Been using for 3 months now and no adverse effects, except for realizing just how much hair you've lost.

Oh right. Was thinking it may deprive the scalp of air or light or something like that. Mick from Farjo has told me that using the product 'doesn't do the quality of your hair any favours' but didn't explain what that meant. Seems like a great product to me. I've not heard anyone else say it's bad for your hair. Anyone?
