Generic finasteride at Target for $9 (30 day supply)

Not sure if all you finasteride (Propecia) users already know about this, but i felt i'd throw this out there to help save yourselves a few $$$. I haven't confirmed it myself but Dr. William Rassman from baldingblog.com has (link below). 30 day supply of 5mg finasteride (generic) for $9 at Target!

If I wanted to get a prescription for Finasteride 5mg how would I go about that? Would doctors be willing to do that even though I don't have prostate problems?

the post sounds great,BUT ,at this time there is NO generic for propecia
the drug,which a cannot prononce!!is ,from what i have been told,is still patented!!
so is not available

i was wrong!!

i asked my doctor again,and he said i mis understood him.
there is no generic for PROPECIA,but fanasteride[sorry about the spelling!],is the drug that is propecia,and it is available.
spoke with my hair transplant surgeon,and he says most of his patients are taking this !!
so,am off to target!!!

I just went to my doctor and tole him my concerns about my hair. He saw liitle risk involved from an adverse reaction to the medicine and he wrote a perscription for me. Since he wrote it for Finasteride 5mg my insurance covers the cost.
