    Default Rogaine vs Finasteride side effects

    I am seeking advice about whether to use Minoxidil or Finasteride. I am not wild about the side effects of either — namely weight gain through water retention with Minoxidil or gynecomastia with Finasteride. Has anyone tried both? How widespread are these side effects?

    By the way, I'm 36 and noticing thinning at the crown of my head.
