Question About Hair Systems And Skin/itching
How suitable are hair systems for people who have itchy scalps? I know a lot of conditions like Seborrheic Dermatitis and Dandruff are treated by applying things to your scalp, which obviously isn't possible with certain types of hair system. Will this mean you can't have a hair system if you have one of these conditions?
Can your scalp still be cleaned and creams and stuff applied if you have a lace one?

If you need to apply cream, you will need to remove the system. It depends how itchy and how often. You could reattach more regularly.

Hi Grincher,
I have read a few of your responses on this forum and another forum. You seem really knowledgeable on hair systems and have been using the for a while.
I have transitioned a hair system this week so am very new to it all. I was hoping I could message/email you for advice and tips if possible? I have added you as a friend on here.
Would really appreciate your help.
Thanks

Hey,
You can try using shampoos which contain these ingredients:
1. pyrinthione zinc
2. selenium sulfide
3. salicylic acid
4. ketoconazole
If you're opting for natural remedies you can try rubbing some aloe vera or tea tree oil on your scalp.
