Default 1500+ grafts with Dr. Charles October 6th 2010

A little details..... I am currently 25 and I began losing hair in my crown region rapidly from around 21. I have always thought about doing the surgery but could never afford it so I started saving ever since. At the beginning of this year I was almost ready to start seriously looking for a doctor and finally getting business in order. I went for a consultation with Dr. Shapiro and thought it was rather informative and the price he offered was perfect. I decided to do a little more research before i spent my money and it proved to be my best decision yet. I learnt so much more in a few weeks than i did elsewhere all year long. I found out some not so positive things about Dr. Larry Shapiro of Delray Beach FL and decide to rule him out as an option. I looked to some of the website-recommended surgeons and heard many positives about Dr Glenn Charles and a few others and decided to do a consultation with him even though I knew he was out of my price range. All i can say about that is he is such a GREAT guy and I decided without a doubt that i could not do such a life-changing procedure with any other doctor.

    That said,
All Pics were taken today. All the before pics were taken around 9:30 a.m. when i got to the clinic and all after pictures were taken around 2:00 p.m. when the procedure was finished. Since I got home i have been experiencing some severe head-aches but the meds seem to be keeping it under control. Very minimal bleeding and overall I am quite content with my experience. Dr. Charles did all he can to ensure my comfort and even called me tonight from his personal cell phone to see to it that I am doing well. Its good to know I have a doctor that genuinely cares and I feel the need to spread the word because a prospective HT patient deserves nothing less than Dr. Glenn Charles.

    trudappa,

Congrats on your procedure with Dr. Charles. If you don't mind my saying, you have excellent hair quality and characteristics. And no doubt with that nice curl, you can get an enhanced result when it grows out. Curls like that provide an added illusion of density compared to straight hair. Any added hair cailber is a real plus as well.

Hopefully the headaches have subsided or have improved. Keeping your activity low will also help that.

Looking forward to your results as they grow in! Happy growing...and thanks for sharing your story with us.
