    Default My beard transplant experience

    Hi guys,

I had burn scars from childhood on my body (3rd degree) and face (1st degree).

I turned 28 this year and finally collected all my braveness for a beard transplant. One of my colleagues advised AHD clinic.

I came for a consultation first, since I was very nervous, scared to spoil existing not satisfying look. I talked personally to Dr. Doganay. We agreed on 4.000 grafts. I chose technician surgery from the beginning to the end (due to my budget).

We scheduled the operation for 20-21 July. To tell that it was tough is not to tell anything. My scarred skin is thick, technicians contributed a lot of effort to go through it. I didnt feel any pain because I was given local anesthesia, but surgery lasted long and I felt a little frustrated, what to do.

The first couple of days were unusual for me. I still cant get used to new me. The clinic explained how to wash and care after surgery. I followed all instructions with shaking hands.

    My scabs are cleaning now.
I will post a few photos that I was sent today by AHD to share with you. Hope my case will be inspiring and useful for some of you who are still in doubt.

    Hi guys,
The healing seems to progress well, sometimes I have itching. The clinic advised me to wash the area with warm water to moisture the skin. It helps.
I wonder if anyone here had the transplants after trauma (rough skin). How do you go through it?

    Hi guys,
My shock loss progresses weird. More hair fell out (broke and fell out to be clear) from the right side. Do you think it is normal? I am in a bit of panic. Appreciate your help.

From my own experience, I will say that a skin flap with hair follicles is cut out from the occipital zone of the head with a scalpel. Then, with special tools, it is dissected into parts, isolating individual hair follicles with the skin. The material prepared for transplantation is called grafts. In hair placement, small incisions are made with a special scalpel, where the selected graphs are placed with tweezers. I had this method; maybe they will choose another way for you. The operation is usually faster than using another method. And the whole procedure hairtransplantclinictoronto.com takes from 2 to 6 hours. I had many different options, but I chose a hair transplant because it is the safest and involves minimal risk.
