Should I see a dermatologist? Are they worthwhile visiting or not?
I think at some stage earlier on I heard that they were mostly snake oil salesmen, maybe I got that completely wrong.
I've been taking the usual medications and treatments for hairloss, since 2014, and though for my age of 30 i'm not a full blown baldie, i'm not happy with how my hairloss is still progressing, I do feel like i've lost ground over the last year. I increased my dosage of proscar finasteride from 1/4 tablet (1.25mg~) daily to 1/3 tablet (1.6mg~), so i'm hoping the loss in the last few months is a shed which will grow back, but this is just wishful thinking, I don't imagine it will.
I also have hairloss above my ears (retrograde alopecia), though the nape and back of head seems fine. My lower legs are also thinning, which is really stressing me out now. Wtf is wrong with me.
