    Dr. Lindsey 3100 graft frontal case

    This middle aged fellow was an ideal candidate for surgery. He has nice wavy donor hair, a lax scalp for strip excision, and a good color match between skin and hair. Shown are periop and 1 week pictures which show that he did a superb job of cleaning. Hopefully he'll show for the scar check next month and followup next summer for pics and possibly a second case farther back that we discussed.

    He stopped back in last week for a 5 week check and shows that most of the recipient hair is falling out as expected, and despite a lot of exercise, his scar looks great at this point. We'll see him in 6 months.

        Thanks for the comment Spex. And I do post lots of strip pics intraop, and a fair number at a year with scars that look alot better than the intraop pic would suggest....

        A 2 layer trichphytic closure USUALLY will result in a very acceptable scarline once the scar has matured.
