    Dr Bisanga, 3200 Grafts, Belgium

I recently had an FUE transplant with Dr Bisanga in Belgium. The whole experience was so great I've decided to share it, in hope that it might inspire other people who were in my position.

From start to finish, the clinic were really accommodating (shout out to Hilde the patient coordinator for being there on WhatsApp for lots of annoying questions from me).

I am 28 and have pretty severe hairloss, maybe a Norwood 5 or 6. I covered it up quite successfully for many years with Toppik.

After years of research on many forums, word of mouth and after seeing about six clinics in the UK, USA and Europe, as well as having micropigmentation in London, I decided to go with Dr Bisanga after meeting them in London a consultation.

I had around 3200 grafts in the frontal area, it was pretty uncomfortable for about a week after, but after that all my friends just thought I had shaved my head and that I had a good hairline!

I will need another 2000+ grafts on the top and crown at some point and am planning to do this ASAP and will definitely be booking into Bisanga again.

A month in and some shedding has occurred but not lots, I am very happy with the result so far.

I'm on fin and oral minoxidil.

I will try to post photos of my progress as time goes on, if you have any specific questions please do ask.

              Hi jt1991

              How are you?
I would imagine that you are approaching around 4 months post surgery currently.
How have the last months been?
              Any updates at all?

                4 (nearly 5) Month Update

                @Raphael84hair

Here is my 4-month update, it's 5 months in 8 days!

The lighting is a little different to the other shots which might be a little deceptive, in full light you can still see my scalp, hopefully, this will thicken up in the coming months!

I get many compliments on how good it's looking and very happy so far, looking forward to the coming months!

                  Thank you for the update.
At 5 months you are looking great. You have some very clear early growth and your hairline is coming in nicely.
6 months represents between 40-60% growth for the "average grower", so you still have another several weeks before reaching the 6 month stage.

As you say, lighting can really change a photo and can be misleading at times, so only you will know how comparable this photo is in that respect.

No surprise to hear that you are getting compliments at this early stage. I have added a side by side photo below to be able to appreciate the journey so far. Very please for you and as you say, the months ahead should be fun.

Please keep us updated. I look forward to the 6 months photos soon.

                      8 month update

This photo has more direct sunlight. You can see it has some more thickening to do, but I'm hoping this will happen as time progresses.

Sorry for the slow reply, yes it was fantastic!

I am still in semi-regular contact with my patient advisor. If I have any questions or replies she replies very quickly.

I am looking forward to going back as soon as I can to get the crown done!

Great to see things are improving jt. You have showed some nice evolution up this stage, and the next months will really continue to mature, thicken and reinforce your result and illusion of density.
I look forward to your next updates.
