donor area issue houston area transplant
Hi,
I am looking to get a hair transplant done in Houston in the next month. My issue is that I went to two in-person consultations and got vastly different information. The first clinic run by Dr. Puig noted that they felt my donor area was weak and could definitely not do over 2000 grafts and that would leave me crown still quite thin.
I went for another consultation with Dr. Jezic and he stated there is nothing wrong and that he could actually do 3500 grafts with FUE to try to get as much of the crown as possible.
Now I am perplexed. Why would the have such vastly different diagnoses? Puig did somewhat insinuate me coming back for another transplant after, so maybe that the angle? Unfortunately there isn't much info on Jezic and honestly not great reviews on Puig so I don't really have much to go on.
I am hoping to get an in person consult with Arocha as he is better reviewed. My big issue is that virtual consults aren't great for determining the donor area strength. Puig actually use a follicle camera type thing to look at it. Jezic and his assistant kinda just looked closely with the naked eye.
Are there any other doctors you guys would recommend in the area and has anyone face a similar issue?
